Ashoka Changemakers

The GES Changemakers Community is an online platform and resource marketplace that allows GES alumni and staff to access the capital, talent and collaborators they need to move their projects forward. As a part of this network, all GES alumni and staff are invited to create a changeshop. Creating a changeshop will allow you to gain exposure for your idea and connect with others with similar visions, ideas, and values. You can track your growth and set specific goals to ensure consistent progress with your idea. Plugging into a community of changeshops also allows you to see how your assets and skills can be of value to others. Users are able to post “needs” and “offers” to share their own skill-sets and source the skill-sets of others.

In essence, alumni are given the space to create a personal website for their project that is inherently connected to other like-minded thinkers, both within the GES community and in Ashoka’s huge network of social change organizations and individuals. You can search for organizations by areas of focus, which is a great tool for networking or searching for inspiration. By being members of the GES Community Changeshop, alumni are given space to stay updated and engaged with GES and its members.
