Announcing the Opening Keynote Speaker 2016

The Global Engagement Summit staff is proud to announce this year's Opening Keynote: Ted Gonder, social entrepreneur and CEO of MoneyThink.

Gonder co-founded MoneyThink, an organization dedicated to the financial education of teens, in 2008. The social movement pairs college mentors with high school students in order to better equip the American youth with valuable skills that will help them face financial situations.

Gonder began with the idea as a student at the University of Chicago and since then has served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, founded the World Economic Forum’s Chicago Shapers hub, been featured in Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list in the Finance category and most recently served on the U.S. President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability for Young Americans.

Additionally, he has given speeches at The White House, the Social Innovation Summit, the Financial Security Summit, TEDxAllstate and more. Today, he continues to work at MoneyThink where alongside his team, he handles the mentorship program, raises philanthropic funds, creates collaborations and partnerships with other organizations and leads the volunteer recruitment efforts in over 30 college campuses where MoneyThink is present.
